Infinix GT 50 Pro: What Makes This Gaming Phone Stand Out?
The Infinix GT 50 Pro drops real gaming hardware — pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers and liquid cooling — into a price bracket where those are rare.
Infinix has aimed the GT 50 Pro squarely at mobile gamers who don't want to spend flagship money. It pairs genuine gaming hardware with a design that shows it off: a partly transparent back panel lets you see the cooling system.
Performance built for long sessions
At the core sits the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, a 4nm chip with an all-big-core CPU layout, backed by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Infinix pairs it with a micro-pump liquid-cooling system that circulates coolant directly across the processor and GPU, so frame rates stay stable in demanding titles like Genshin Impact or Call of Duty: Mobile rather than dropping once the phone heats up. Two pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers on the frame give you extra controls in shooters.
A display made for 144Hz
The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel runs at 1.5K resolution (1208 × 2644) with a 144Hz refresh rate and very high peak brightness — bright enough to stay readable outdoors. RGB lighting on the partly transparent back and a Gorilla Glass 7i front finish the gamer look; the frame and back are plastic, and the phone carries an IP64 splash rating.
Battery and charging
Globally the GT 50 Pro packs a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired, 30W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charging. Worth knowing for Baltic buyers: the European version ships with a slightly smaller 6,150mAh dual-cell battery instead — still large, and the trade-off is faster, cooler charging.
Cameras
Photography is the least ambitious part. A 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.8 lens does the heavy lifting, joined by an 8MP ultrawide (111°) and a 13MP selfie camera. It's a capable everyday shooter rather than a reason to buy.
Variants, software and price
The GT 50 Pro comes in two configurations — 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB — both running Android 16 with XOS 16 and a promise of three major OS updates. It launched globally on 24 April 2026 at around €330 for the 256GB model in some markets, with the 512GB version higher. It isn't on sale in Baltic shops yet, so the local price is not yet announced.
