Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL: What We Know Before Launch
Google is preparing the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL — its first phones with the 2nm Tensor G6 chip. Here is everything the leaks have revealed.
The «Made by Google» event is still months away — it is expected in August — but leaks already paint a fairly clear picture of the successors to the Pixel 10 Pro. Here is everything currently known about the Pixel 11 Pro and the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL. Important: every specification is based on leaks for now and may change before the official launch.
Display
The Pixel 11 Pro should get a 6.3-inch OLED screen (1280 × 2856), while the Pixel 11 Pro XL moves to a larger 6.8-inch panel (1344 × 2992). Both run in LTPO mode from 1 to 120 Hz and reach up to 2,450 nits, so they should stay readable even in sunlight.
The Tensor G6 chip
The biggest change is the next-generation Tensor G6 processor, built on the advanced TSMC 2nm process. According to the leaks, the chip has seven cores (one ARM C1-Ultra up to 4.11 GHz plus C1-Pro cores), PowerVR graphics and an updated Titan M3 security chip. Notably, Google is dropping the Samsung modem for the first time in six years in favour of the MediaTek M90. Both models should offer 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM.
Cameras and «Pixel Glow»
New sensors are reported: a main camera (codenamed «bastet») and a telephoto («barghest»). In place of the temperature sensor from the previous generation, the camera bar should gain a row of RGB LEDs — a feature unofficially called «Pixel Glow» that recalls the Glyph lighting on Nothing phones.
Battery and charging
The leaks list a 4,707 mAh battery in the Pixel 11 Pro and 5,000 mAh in the Pro XL. The phones keep 30 W wired charging and Qi2 with the magnetic «Pixelsnap» attachment, compatible with MagSafe-style accessories.
Storage and versions
Both phones should come in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB options.
Who is it for?
The Pixel 11 Pro is the more compact choice for those who want a flagship camera in a comfortable body. The Pixel 11 Pro XL targets fans of a big screen and longer battery life. Price and release
The series is expected in August 2026. The exact price is not yet announced, but given that the Pixel 10 Pro started at €1,099, the Pixel 11 Pro should be priced similarly or slightly higher due to rising memory chip costs.
